The result of the Joint Engineering Entrance Examination (SRM JEEE) was declared by the SRM University on the official website — srmuniv.ac.in on 1 May.
The exam was conducted for B Tech admissions from 16 April to 30 April 2018. The test was conducted at 123 centres in India, and five centres across Middle East for NRI candidates.
The counselling session will be for admission into BTech courses run by the SRM University for the academic year of 2018. The University has three campuses – in Amravati (Andhra Pradesh), Sonepat (Haryana), and Sikkim, and also few campuses of SRM Institute of Science and Technology in Chennai.

Counselling Dates
Close to 76,000 aspirants are being invited for counselling out of the 72,825 candidates registered from across the country, a report by education portal Shiksha stated.
The SRMJEEE 2018 counseling process for admission to BTech programmes has been scheduled for SRM University-Haryana, SRM University- Andhra Pradesh, Amaravati from 7 May 2018 to 10 May 2018 at their respective campuses.
SRM Institute of Science & Technology has scheduled its counseling from 11 May to 20 May at its NCR campus and Kattankulathur campus.
Details on Fee Waivers
Candidates who are in the top 100 will receive 100 percent waiver of tuition and hostel fees, while ranks 101 to 500 will receive 100 percent tuition fee waiver. Ranks 501 to 1,000 will get 75 percent tuition fee waiver, and ranks 1,001 to 2,000 will get 50 percent tuition fee waiver, the Shiksha report added.
Ranks from 2,001 to 3, 000 will receive 25 percent tuition fee waiver. The scholarships are worth 30 crores which are on offer across SRM group of institutions.
