The examination schedule for the CBT-1 has been released by the Railway Recruitment Board (RRB). The examination is to be conducted for the post of junior engineer (JE).
The RRB JE CBT-1 rescheduled examination is for the candidates whose recruitment exam was cancelled or postponed. They can appear for it on 26 June 2019.
The candidates can download their e-call letter from the official website four days prior to the examination.
The Railway Recruitment Board had conducted the CBT-1 for JE between 25 May and 2 June 2019. However, the exam was rescheduled in some centres, including Ahmedabad, Bhubaneswar and others, because of technical glitches.
As per an official notice by RRB, the candidates can log in on the official website and know their exam city, date, session, downloading train travel authority and e-call letter.
The e-call letter will be available on RRB official websites four days prior to the rescheduled RRB JE CBT-1 examination.
RRB JE CBT-1: Exam Pattern
This will be an online exam and the candidates will have to answer 100 questions in a duration of 90 minutes. These will be multiple-choice questions and for every wrong answer, the candidate will lose one-third marks.
More than 25 lakh students had applied for the 13,800 posts this year.
The recruitment process is for the posts of Junior Engineer, Junior Engineer (information technology), Depot Material Superintendent (DMS) and Chemical and Metallurgical Assistant (CMA).
The selected candidates from CBT 1 candidates will have to appear for CBT 2. The candidates who are finally selected, will get Rs 35,400 monthly, as remuneration.
