Telangana State Board of Intermediate Education (TSBIE) had been earlier directed by the Telangana high court to re-evaluate answer scripts of over three lakh students who had failed in the Intermediate first and second year examinations. The date to declare the result after revaluation was 27 May.

Out of the 3.8 lakh students whose answer scripts were re-verified as they had failed in the examination in March, 1,137 of them are declared passed. 552 candidates who passed were from the second year and are now eligible for higher studies. The remaining 585 students were from the first year.

4,09,133 students had appeared for the first year examination in regular format out of which 2,47,407 students passed which is 60.5%.

3,82,534 students had appeared for the second year examination on regular basis and 64.8% students cleared the examination which is 2,47,755 students.
