The JEE (Main) 2019 Examination, which was scheduled to be conducted from 6-20 April, will now be held between 7 and 20 April 2019, according to a notification issued by the National Testing Agency on Wednesday, 13 March 2019.
“Now, Election Commission of India has declared the dates for General Election on 11, 18, 23 and 29 April 2019 as well as on 6, 12 and 19 May 2019. Accordingly, the dates for the JEE (Main) April 2019 have been revised,” the notification said.
The Examination – a Computer Based Test (CBT) – will consist of two papers: Paper 1 for BE/BTech and Paper 2 for B.Arch/BPlanning. The question papers would be available in three languages – English, Hindi and Gujarati.

- Exam Paper-2 (BArch/BPlanning) | 7 April 2019
- Exam Paper-1 (BE/BTech) | 8, 9, 10 and 12 April 2019.
The candidates can check the exact date and shift from their respective admit cards, which would be made available on www.jeemain.nic.in from 20 March onward.
JEE Main 2019: Eligibility
The candidate should have secured at least 75 percent marks, or be in the top 20 percentile in Class 12 examination conducted by the respective Boards. For SC/ST candidates the qualifying marks would be 65 percent in Class 12 examination.
