IIT Delhi will be conducting the examination for GATE 2020 in the month of February. The Graduate Aptitude Test, or GATE, is a joint examination conducted by the Indian Institute of Science (IISc), IIT Bangalore, IIT Bombay, IIT Delhi, IIT Guwahati, IIT Kanpur, IIT Kharagpur, IIT Madras and IIT Roorkee. It is for admissions in Post Graduate/PhD programmes being offered by these institutes as well as other government agencies.
GATE 2020: Important Dates

GATE 2020 will be conducted for 24 subjects on 1, 2, 8 and 9 February 2020. GATE will be conducted in two sessions. The morning session is likely to be conducted between 9:30 am and 12:30 pm, whereas the afternoon session is likely to be conducted between 2:30 pm and 5:30 pm.
All papers for GATE 2020 examination will be in Computer Based Tests (CBT) mode.
GATE 2020: Application Fee
Candidates will have to pay Rs 1,500 if they apply on or before 24 September 2019. However, if they apply during the extended period, they will have to pay Rs 2,000 as application fee.
For SC/ST/PwD/Female candidates, the application fee is Rs 750 if they applied on or before 24 September 2019 however, they will have to pay Rs 1,250 if they apply during the extended period.
