As per a notification, the Andhra Pradesh Panchayat Raj and Rural Development Department (APPR) is recruiting for 400,000 Grama Volunteer jobs.

The candidates need to submit their applications online by 5 July 2019. It is important that the candidate submit their legitimate e-mail id as well as scanned copies of their signature and photograph.
AP Grama Volunteer Recruitment 2019: Important Things To Note
- It is important that the candidates apply for the village or the gram panchayat that they belong to. They can only apply for the job in their village.
- In order to be eligible for the job, candidates must have at least cleared their Intermediate examinations or its equivalent for rural areas. However, for jobs in tribal ares, the candidates must have cleared their Class 10 examination or any of its equivalents. The candidates applying for the job from Urban areas should have a degree in higher education to be eligible for the job.
- The minimum age limit for the candidates is 18 years whereas their age can also not be more than 35 years as on 30 June 2019.
AP Grama Volunteer Recruitment 2019: Selection Process
The candidates will be selected on the basis of the interview conducted by the MPDO/Tehsildar/EO (PR & RD). MPDO will head the selection committee and the letter of recruitment for the selected candidates for Village Volunteers will also be issued by the MPDO.

The candidates who get selected as the volunteers for the Andhra Pradesh Gram Panchayat will be recruited and paid Rupees 5,000/- monthly as their salary and it will be based on performance.
