Fire at a COVID-19 Delhi Hospital

Fire broke out on the third floor of Cygnus Orthocare Hospital in Hauz Khas area, Delhi, ANI reports. 8 fire tenders have been rushed to the spot. "Fire is under control now and 7 patients have been rescued," ANI quotes Atul Garg, Director, Fire Services Department.

DMK MP Arrested for 'Hate Speech', Later Granted Bail

DMK Rajya Sabha MP RS Bharathi was arrested by the Chennai Police early on Saturday for his alleged hate speech against people belonging to SC communities on 14 February.

He was later granted interim bail.

"The sole reason for his arrest was that he has been filing complaints against the chief minister and other ministers for their corruption. We have filed an application and the court has given interim bail," Bharathi's Advocate Shanmugasundaram said.

97 Dead, 2 Survivors in Karachi Plane Crash Incident

At least 97 people have died in the Karachi plane crash incident, Pakistan's health ministry said, adding there were two people who also survived the incident.

The Pakistan Airlines Airbus A-320 flight crashed in a residential area near the Karachi Airport on Friday.
