Delhi Police Wants to Ban Ladies’ Nights For Women’s Safety

The Delhi Police have “discouraged” clubs in Hauz Khas Village from holding Ladies’ Nights as the events “disrupt” law and order situation in the city.

Speaking with The Quint on condition of anonymity, senior Delhi Police officials confirmed that the establishments have been ‘asked’ to avoid organising Ladies’ Nights for the sake of women’s safety.

We have discouraged clubs from holding Ladies’ Night. Such nights lure many men and it creates a law and order problem, risking women’s safety.
