Tejashwi Yadav lashed out at Nitish Kumar, hours after the latter announced his resignation as Bihar Chief Minister on 26 July.
RJD chief Lalu Prasad Yadav’s sons Tejashwi and Tej Pratap Yadav led RJD workers and MLAs in a march towards the Raj Bhavan early on Thursday morning. They threatened to hold a dharna if not called to form a government, and raised slogans against Nitish Kumar being invited to form his government ahead of the RJD, which is the single largest party in the state Assembly.
After meeting Governor Tripathi, Tejashwi Yadav told the media that they’ve requested the former to stall the swearing-in ceremony on 27 July and give the RJD an opportunity to prove majority on the floor.
After Nitish Kumar took oath as the Chief Minister, Yadav took to Twitter to hit back at the former.
