CBI raided Rashtriya Janata Dal chief Lalu Yadav’s house and filed a fresh FIR regarding tender of IRCTC-owned hotels. Apart from Yadav, his wife Rabri Devi and son Tejashwi Yadav, others named in the FIR include his confidant Prem Chand Gupta and his wife Sarla Gupta, Vijay Kochhar, Vinay Kochhar, Delight Marketing Company, and PK Goel.
CBI Additional Director Rakesh Asthana said the tender process for the maintenance of two Railway Hotels was handed after receiving bribe. Further the land was allegedly transferred to Lara Projects owned by Lalu's family members. The case was registered under IPC provisions of Prevention of Corruption Act, 1988.
