Following his party’s crushing defeat in the MCD Polls, Congress leader Ajay Maken has offered to resign from the post of President of Delhi Congress. Maken said that he takes the responsibility for Congress’ defeat in the crucial civic polls and will resign from the post. Although Congress saw an increase in their vote share as compared to the recent elections, the party looks set to be placed third behind BJP and AAP.
Maken further added that he will work as a party worker and will not take up any post in the party.
