A woman from Bareilly, Nida Khan has written to Uttar Pradesh Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath, requesting him to abolish the practice of triple talaq.

Khan has taken to the social media, appealing to Yogi Adityanath for the abolition of what she calls 'anti-women Islamic tradition'. She has also tweeted to Prime Minister Narendra Modi and Sushma Swaraj for support.
