Ahead of the second leg of Parliament’s Budget Session, Prime Minister Narendra Modi expressed hope that the passage of his government’s key GST bill will meet a fruitful conslusion. Speaking to news agency ANI, Modi said that his government hoped “to reach a breakthrough on GST.” The PM also added that so far, most state governments have supported the crucial legislation.
He also emphasised on the need for effective functioning of both the houses of Parliament.
