Two men are seen getting off a scooter and blocking a young woman's path, getting off and then groping her. The incident is said to have occurred around 2.30 am on Sunday night. The CCTV cameras installed at a house near the Kammanahalli 5th Main Road in east Bengaluru captured the incident.
It has been three days since the shameful incident of mass molestation took place in Bengaluru on New Year’s eve.
The victim in this accompanying CCTV video was accosted after getting off an auto-rickshaw and was 50 metres from her house.
The outrageous episode was followed by an angry outburst on social media, especially twitter. Citizens and celebrities alike expressed anger and frustration at the incident that has brought shame to the country’s silicon valley.
The police has said thhat they have recovered credible evidence of the incident and have registered an FIR for the same.
The police has gone through feeds of 45 cameras on MG road and an enquiry is underway.
