As the nation celebrates Guru Nanak’s 547th birth anniversary on Monday, gurdwaras across the nation wear a festive look and the faithful throng to pay their respects.

Hordes of devotees visited the revered Golden Temple in Amritsar, which has been decorated with electric lights for the occasion. The Bangla Sahib gurdwara in New Delhi too has been embellished with festive lights.

Meanwhile, Delhi Chief Minister Arvind Kejriwal conveyed his greetings to the peole on the occasion of Gurpurab.
