My Sandesh to a Soldier: You Make us Proud to be an Indian

The zeal with which you serve our nation is commendable, writes Gaurav Bisht in his ‘Sandesh to a Soldier’.

Dear soldiers,

First of all, I would like to wish you a very happy Republic Day in advance.

It is because of you that all of us sleep peacefully. Whenever there's any tension at the borders, you act as a shield. We've seen you defend us in extreme weather conditions.
