The decision on the new Chief Minister of Rajasthan is expected to be announced by Thursday evening, 13 December. Some youngsters from Bikaner, Rajasthan, however, have already expressed their choice when I spoke to them.
Well, we need to see if Congress President Rahul Gandhi agrees with their choice or not.
Among my friends, Sachin Pilot was the unanimous choice for the next Chief Minister of Rajasthan. A prominent reason being he is young, and a lot of youngsters like me relate to him and hope that he would bring back the lost glory of Rajasthan.
But Suryadev Singh Shaktawat believes that Ashok Gehlot would still make a better CM because he comes with experience and a successful past tenure.
“I think Ashok Gehlot should be the chief minister. One must look at his past tenure. He was a successful CM and the people believe he would do good work and will be successful this time too.”Suryadev Singh Shaktawat, Law student
Unfortunately for Shaktawat, my other two friends didn’t share the same opinion. For them, it was Sachin Pilot all the way.
“I feel it should be Sachin Pilot. This is a country of youngsters and the party president (Rahul Gandhi) is a young politician himself. Pilot is young and he believes that youngsters should be given an opportunity to lead and govern.”Ajay Singh Rathore, Law student
