Remember the cute Vodafone pug who followed his owner everywhere? Imagine our surprise when we discovered that Cheeka the Vodafone pug is back! He was spotted at the Vodafone Premier Badminton League (PBL), and this time he wasn’t alone, he brought a pack of pugs with him.
Cheeka and his pack gate-crashed the Vodafone Premier Badminton League finals, and what made this appearance even more awesome was the fact that Vodafone used augmented reality to bring the pugs alive on the court. As the commentators interacted with the pugs, the surprised audience couldn’t get enough of them. This was the first time a brand has used augmented reality in a sports league in India.
