DiCaprio has touched upon a variety of genres of cinema ranging from romance, historical and period drama, thrillers and even science fiction. Leonardo DiCaprio has won many awards, including the Golden Globe, the BAFTA and the highly coveted Academy Award. Besides his outstanding cinematic presence and skill, he is famous for his environment consciousness and activism.

Kurt Vonnegut was among the most influential American novelists of the 20th century. Vonnegut published his first novel “Player Piano” in 1952. He published 14 novels, three short story collections, five plays and five works of non-fiction during the course of his lifetime. Vonnegut’s most famous work is his darkly satirical, best seller “Slaughterhouse-Five” from 1969. In 2008, a book composed of his unpublished piece, “Armageddon in Retrospect,” was compiled and published posthumously by his son Mark.

Maulana Abul Kalam Azad

Maulana Abul Kalam Azad was a senior muslim leader of the Indian National Congress during the Indian independence movement and the first Minister of Education of Independent India. Staunch opponent of partition, Abul Kalam Azad condemned communal seperation and always prioritised national freedom over communal freedom. He is commonly remembered as “Maulana Azad,” the world “Maulana” deeming him ‘Our Moster,” and Azad being the pen name he adopted. In India, we celebrate his birthday as “National Education Day.”

Successful Hollywood actress, Demi Moore, made her debut with the film ‘Choices’ after having appeared on the cover of an adult magazine. She later gained fame with her breakthrough role in the film ’St Elmo’s Fire.’ Demi Moore had humble beginning and a disturbed childhood but she went on to make a name for herself. She now has an estimated net worth of $150 million and is one of the most accomplished actresses in Hollywood. In 1990 she won the Saturn Award for “Best Actress” for her film ‘Ghost.’
