Style mavens tend to be enigmas. A step ahead of the entire world. They flit between being an inspiration and a muse. Using fashion as a weapon to express their point of view. And nobody does it better than Sukhneet Wadhwa aka Ms Coco Queen. Sukhneet has created her own world in blogosphere with her distinctive posts that combine her style with her love for writing.

i Create

Sukhneet set up her own blog, mscocoqueen.com, in 2013. Rather than being part of the ‘fashion blogger rush’ on social media, where enthusiasts were busy posting pictures of their outfits every day, she decided to go back to the roots of fashion writing. Her aim – to have a conversation with her readers. Wadhwa took the risk of being an exception to create her own world and soon found a following, some in awe of her style and some in love with her writing. She runs her blog like a boss!

But many don’t know that this style chameleon is a finance major. Her corporate stint may have only lasted a year, but all her learnings have successfully come in handy in making Sukhneet a brand in herself. And others sat up and noticed.

i Style

Sukhneet believes that style must tell a story. It must engage and encourage people to experiment & evolve. And she leads by example, one day she is combining wardrobe staples with classics and at other times she slips into something eye-popping(ly) modern and contemporary. In her world, there are no restrictions to what one can or can’t do with fashion. Sukhneet has faced her fair share of critics, “People may call me a poser or an airhead fashion blogger, but I know my worth and that’s the reason why I have worked with more than 50 brands (and counting!).”

i Work

Every day, every post is planned and hours of prep go into the final product, “I work from home and people tend to think that I don’t have a real job, but I am a businesswoman.”

By her own admission, Sukhneet works 12 hours a day. Her mind constantly whirring with new ideas, and her world constantly changing colours.
