Navaratri is a Hindu festival which is celebrated in different parts of India. It spans over nine nights and ten days and is observed at the time of autumn every year. Navaratri is coming to an end and Maha Ashtami and Maha Navami are being celebrated on sixth and seventh of October 2019.
There are four seasonal Navaratris, however, the post-monsoon autumn festival, also called Sharada Navaratri is practiced in the honour of the divine Goddess Devi (Durga).
