You know a show is important, when the bloggers are talking about it with much anticipation. And in return, the HUEMN AW17 collection did not disappoint. Showcasing exaggerated long sleeves — a major trend this season —and gender neutral clothing, the collection paid a “tribute to the individual”.
The collection also tried to touch upon the political ambience of our times. Like with this piece, that resembles a burqa and seems to subtly raise a point about the issue of Islamophobia that’s facing the world today.
I’d never imagined plaids to be used on gowns, but then again, trust designers to dazzle you with their interpretations.
With their Fall ’17 collection, Huemn also launched their first line of denim and raincoats.
