The Selfie fever is soaring. But some people are taking their obsession to a serious extreme. A Romanian teenager Anna Ursu from the northern town of Iasi probably had no idea that her obsession was about to turn fatal.
She wanted to take a special selfie on top of a moving train which she intended to share on Facebook later. It didn’t turn out to be a Chaiyya Chaiyya moment as expected. Why she was allowed to get on top of the train is another matter, but during this senseless stunt, she accidentally touched a live wire sending 27,000 volts through her body, causing it to burst. In a similar and equally crazy incident here in India, three college friends met with a fatal accident as they tried taking a selfie against an approaching train. The incident took place in Mathura in January 2015 according to a Times Of India report.
But this next one really takes the cake!
Oscar Otero Aguilar accidentally shot himself while posing for a selfie with a loaded gun! The Telegraph reported in August 2014 that the 21 year old Mexican was drinking with friends while doing this.
Well selfie love is great, as long as your next selfie is not your last one!
