If you haven’t been living under a rock, you would know that late in April this year, French carmaker Citroën announced its entry into the Indian market with the unveiling of the C5 Aircross. You will be able to sight the mid-size SUV on Indian roads towards the end of 2020.

Interestingly, if you look around you, you will see that Citroën is not India’s first French connection. And no, we are not talking about the brand. We are talking about the brand’s logo- the two chevrons.

For those of you who don’t know what a chevron is, it is basically an inverted V-shape. It looks something like this.

Citroën sees their double chevron logo everywhere in India – the architecture, food, clothes and other cultural elements. To start off their journey in an exciting way, the brand recently launched a contest online called #InspiredByIndia . Now, Citroën wants you to tell them where you can spot the double chevrons logo in your surroundings.

What are you expected to do, you ask? Just look around, explore your creativity and share photos of where you spot the double chevrons with the hashtags #InspiredByIndia and #CitroenInIndia on Twitter, Instagram or Facebook. And in the simple act of sharing your inspiration, you get a chance to win Citroën’s exclusive lifestyle products. The contest has already started and the winners of the contest will be announced on August 5. Actress Kalki Koechlin and many others have already shared their entries:
