The Staff Selection Commission conducts the Combined Graduate Level (CGL) examination to appoint the candidates in Grade ‘B’ and Grade ‘C’ category for the various positions at government ministries, departments and offices. The last date to register for the SSC CGL 2019 exam is 25 November 2019.

The SSC CGL exam is divided into four different tiers. The Tier I and Tier II examination is a computer-based test whereas Tier III and Tier IV exams are based on a descriptive exam, skill test and document verification. Applicants have to clear each exam to get to the next level until they get finally selected.

The commission has announced the exam details for SSC CGL 2019 exam on the official website of SSC at ssc.nic.in.

The commission will be conducting the SSC CGL 2019 exam between 2 March and 11 March. The exam will be in a computer-based format. This date shared by the commission is a tentative date, as it will share the full exam schedule later on its official website.

How To Apply For SSC CGL 2019 Exam?

  1. Visit the official website of SSC at ssc.nic.in to read the detailed notification.
  2. After checking the eligibility, click on the ‘Registration’ option.
  3. Fill in the required details like mobile number validation, email id etc.
  4. After completion of the registration, fill in the online application form and upload the required documents.
  5. Fill the exam application fee for the completion of the process.

The computer-based test will be conducted in two consecutive levels where the candidates' academic merit will be evaluated. It will also consist of a descriptive test and a skill test.

After two and a half years of the SSC CGL 2017 exam, the SSC has announced the result for the examination on 15 November ie Friday. The result was declared on the official website of SSC at ssc.nic.in. Candidates who appeared for the examination two-and-a-half years ago can now check the most awaited result on ssc.nic.in.
