Jayalalithaa was on wrong medication for diabetes before she arrived at Chennai’s Apollo Hospital on 22 September, according to a leaked email allegedly sent by senior NDTV journalist Barkha Dutt to her colleagues.The leaked email reveals that the now deceased Tamil Nadu Chief Minister had begun to make "decent improvement recovery" before the medication was started.Jayalalithaa was admitted to Apollo Hospital in September, where she stayed until her death on 5 December following a cardiac arrest.There was a lot of secrecy maintained around the health of the AIADMK leader, with the hospital and her party hardly revealing very little details about her health.“One of the Apollo Reddy sisters”The subject line of the email specifies that the information on Jayalalithaa’s health is from a conference (call) with “one of the Apollo Reddy sisters”.
