The reason why Harry stuck around with Sejal in Jab Harry Met Sejal is because of the “ring”. It all started when our Gujju-girl Sejal, aka Anushka Sharma, lost her ring. And our travel guide, Harry, tries to help her out.

I know it sounds like Shahrukh and Anushka are trying make really bad excused to take a holiday. But that’s not an issue. The problem is that Imtiaz Ali is not holidaying with them. You can't make a 143-minute-long film just on 'somebody lost their ring'. This is actually the weakest Imtiaz Ali film, but not Shahrukh Khan's.

There is this Shahrukh Khan dialogue in the film, “Main ladkiyon ko gandi nazaron se dekhta hun,” but when he looks into the camera, the intensity that he brings along, he is opening his arms, his amazing smile. At that moment Shahrukh Khan is actually irresistible as Harry.

Sejal, on the other hand, is the most irritating Imtiaz Ali's heroine. First she does not know what she wants – confused and clingy. To be honest, the worst part of the film is when Harry actually meets Sejal.

So if you are a Shahrukh Khan fan, than you can't afford to miss this one.

I give it 3 Quints out of 5.
