Approximately 150 Hindu outfits will meet from 14 to 17 June in Goa for a convention “to chalk out a programme for establishing a ‘Hindu Rashtra’ in India by 2023”,

The organisers of this mega Hindu convention are the Hindu Janajagruti Samiti (HJS), a sister outfit of Sanatan Sanstha that came to notoriety after the murder of rationalist Dr Narendra Dabholkar.

This is the aim of the convention, according to their website.

In their 2015 convention, they had demanded a ban on convent schools, claiming that these schools don’t allow Hindu students to be Hindu enough.

While announcing a press conference for the same, Hindu Janajagruti Samiti (HJS) national spokesperson Ramesh Shinde had said, “Presently, brainstorming is going all over the nation on the topic of the Hindu nation. During the campaign in the Uttar Pradesh Assembly elections, it was one of the prominent issues.”

He also emphatically declared that the Hindu Rashtra will come into being in the year 2023 and that the HJS aims to unite all Hindu outfits to work together in this mission.
