For members of the Hindu Sena, Donald Trump’s victory in the US marks “the initiation of right-wing in the world”. They also have elaborate names for him, one of them being ‘The King of the World.’ It’s obvious then, that Trump’s inauguration would get this far-right Hindu group to organise themselves and hail the king. The news got many excited, including several media channels, who made sure they captured every bit of the celebration.

The Hindu Sena members, mind you, are also soothsayers. They had predicted and declared Trump’s victory before it happened, also hosting an event at Jantar Mantar to celebrate it. Before that, they held hawans to attract good luck for Trump when he was running for president.

The right wing group has been left smitten by Trump’s love towards Indians, specifically Hindu Indians and his disdain towards radical Islam. The members held posters that read, "India Loves Trump" and "Trump Our Only Hope".
