A balloon with a message written in Urdu threatening India of dire consequences was found in a field on Tuesday at Tibba village in Kangra district, Himachal Pradesh, police said.

"The message in Urdu read 'India has to face the consequences'. It was written on a piece of cloth, which was tied to the balloon," said Romesh Kumar, who found the balloon in his field.

It was found on the Himachal Pradesh-Punjab border.

Villagers in Rajouri district found shells near there houses and farms after the shelling.

AAP workers staged a protest against Pakistan outside the High Commission of Pakistan, on Tuesday.

Although AAP Chief Arvind Kejriwal had supported the Modi-led BJP government on the surgical strikes conducted in PoK, he asked Modi to provide evidence of the strikes.
