Lance Naik Hanamanthappa Passes Away After a Tough Battle

The braveheart has passed away after being a tough battle.

Lance Naik Hanamanthappa Koppad passed away at 11:45 am on Thursday after having defied death at Siachen, surviving for six whole days despite being buried under 35 feet of snow.

The 33-year-old, 19th Battalion of Madras Regiment braveheart slipped into a deeper coma before passing away. He received love and prayers from people all over the nation.

He suffered with multiple organ dysfunction, stopped reacting to maximum doses of all drugs, kidney failure, pneumonia, blood clotting disorder and all this while being in a deep coma.

He is survived by his wife Mahadevi Ashok Bilebal and two-year-old daughter Netra Koppad.
