We met up with singer and actress Monica Dogra while she was busy shooting a music video for her song Shiver (from the album Spit), which talks about women’s empowerment, gender and sexuality. So we got her talking about the struggles of being a woman. This video is dedicated to all the girls out there who’ve fought society, broken norms and at the same time felt scared, insecure but finally emerged proud and happy to be a woman.
