To all the lovelies naaris,

This is for my mom. The most fearless woman I’ve ever known. She taught me to scoff at ‘sanskaari’ ideas, to work tirelessly and to make the world a better place; to live with kindness and empathy, to prize intelligence and a sense of humour above all other virtues.

But most importantly, she showed me how to unwind over a fine single malt at the end of a long hardworking day. She’s the greatest woman alive (no exaggeration) and she’s strong, sassy and funny as hell, and I want you guys to see her for yourself.

Regards,
Aashna Dasgupta
