Delhi’s first International Queer Theatre And Film Festival is an initiative by Harmless Hugs – an LGBT support group in India. The event will be held on 12 and 13 December 2015 at Lok Kala Manch, Lodhi Institutional Area, New Delhi.
13 films from 9 different countries will be screened, which will delve into themes such as queer identity, politics and queer protests. Powerful play performances by Asmita and Pandies, as well as artists like Mona Ambegaokar will also be a part of the event. Movie screenings and plays will be well-complimented by a round of panel discussions and debates, including some of the biggest names from the Indian LGBTQ Movement.
DIQTFF is a non-ticketed event and The Quint is the official media partner.
