So we hear that Zayn Malik and Gigi Hadid have finally split. Zayn, the pop star who broke up with the boy band One Direction and model Hadid, officially announced their break up on Tuesday. The two (fondly called ZiGi by fans) were dating each other for over two years. Considering their following among youngsters and their social media following, this could well be a HUGE break up in the online world.
Both Zayn (26.9 million followers) and Hadid (8.7 million followers) announced their break on Twitter to their fans and followers:
What’s also making news is the fact that Zayn unfollowed his ex-girlfriend and her mother Yolanda Hadid on Instagram just hours after announcing their break up on Twitter. Both Gigi and her mother still follow Zayn though.
Zayn and Gigi were featured on the cover of Vogue last year.
