The Virat Kohli - Anushka Sharma wedding is a hush-hush affair that’s so far taking place at an “undisclosed venue” in Tuscany, Italy. While India Today claims that it is reporting from the venue where the big fat wedding is going to take place, they have so far refrained from naming the place, just calling it an “Italian vineyard”.

The venue and villas shown in the India Today report are of a resort called Borgo Finocchieto, located at a 13th century hamlet in Buonconvento, adjacent to the castle of Bibbiano, 35 kms south of Siena.

According to reports, the property was purchased by former US ambassador John Phillips in 2001, and consists of five villas. The Borgo Finocchieto has undergone 8 years of restoration, to become one of the world’s most luxurious hotel complexes, which can accommodate 44 people in 22 rooms. Former US President Obama reportedly visited Borgo Finocchieto for a holiday in May.
Hiring the entire set of 5 villas for a week costs up to 110,000 Euros and the place has been apparently booked by Virat and Anushka till 13 December.
