But Karan Johar brings out their bromance on the third episode of Koffee With Karan season 5. These dudes never miss a chance to pick on each other, but are proud brothers from different mothers. They’re always a riot together, even when Karan Johar stumps them with a ‘penis’ question.

1. Always Friends, Never Rivals
These two went to acting school together and know each other inside out. They laugh about their embarrassing audition reel and I think this is why they’re such good friends.
Varun and Arjun talk about the ups and downs they’ve gone through in their friendship. But they seem to have cracked the ideal bro-code by not letting rivalry come between them. Varun says that the trick is to keep sharing one another’s problems as well as successes, despite all the fame and stardom. We gather that Arjun plays the protective older brother in this friendship and he says that he gets a kick out of Varun’s success. Karan Johar is mighty impressed, and so are we.
2. Unabashed Penis Talk
Wait, hang on. Did Karan Johar actually ask Arjun Kapoor if his penis was bigger than Varun’s? LOL! Yes that happened, and the boys were cocky rockstars about that questions. Arjun said “I’m pretty certain of it” and Varun said “I don’t think he knows anything at all”.
Trust Karan Johar to throw that bouncer. But well played boys!
3. They Love Taking Their Shirts Off
...or not putting them on in the first place. Both Arjun and Varun apparently hate putting on a shirt when they’re chilling at home. While Varun says he’s always loved walking around his house in his underwear, ever since he was a little kid, Arjun says if he takes a shower, he can’t sit at home. The boys have a shared love for taking off their shirts and they have no f*cks to give about who says what.
4. It’s Never About A Girl
KJo asked Varun and Arjun if their friendship has ever gone into ‘awkward’ zone over a girl. He didn’t stop there in fact. Karan asked the boys if they were both dating Alia Bhatt and if that ever caused a rift between them. But their answer was couldn’t be more honest. Varun said it’s very unfair for us to talk about Alia or any girl like this and Arjun supported him by saying, “it’s never been about a girl.”
5. Embarrassing Nick Names
Varun and Arjun have got code names for each other. Varun is known as ‘The Snake’ or ‘Ajgar Jurrat’. Why? Well, Arjun says he has a habit of being at the centre of everyone’s attention and jokes about being a ‘harmful’ friend because he loves to steal your thunder. Varun sits and grins happily as Arjun complains to Karan. And guess what Arjun’s nickname is, ‘Fubu’! There’s a story behind that too. Arjun Kapoor was overweight as a teenager and only wore FuBu stuff, a plus size fashion label.
