Controversies and fights go hand-in-hand in the Bigg Boss house.

The way they play out, these controversies sometimes appear like they’re not just happening because of anger, but to garner more TRPs. The saying jo dikhta hai wahi bikta hai is the most suited for majority of the contestants in the Bigg Boss house. Some of the participants have risen to stardom thanks (only) to the controversies they created whilst in the house.

Over the last ten seasons, the ratings of the show is proof of how viewers love to watch Dolly Bindra’s “baap pe mat jaana” jibes; KRK’s bottle hurling incident, and the taunts Imam Siddique had to offer actor, Urvashi Dholakia.

Let’s take a look at the top controversies which have kept Bigg Boss rolling:

Dolly Bindra’s spat with Manoj Tiwari, and Shweta Tiwari

Dolly Bindra, who is famous for her aggressive nature and her verbal lashing became famous overnight because of her dialogue, “Baap Pe Mat Jaana”. She made a trademark for herself by using this dialogue with Bhojpuri actor, Manoj Tiwari in a fight over eggs in the kitchen. In the second controversy, the rowdy contestant got into a physical fight with actor. Shweta Tiwari. The fight took an ugly turn when Dolly left bruises on Shweta’s arms.

Swami Om pees on Bani and Rohan

Known to be the most controversial contestant of Bigg Boss, Swami Om the self-proclaimed Godman didn’t leave any chance to insult the women in the house. In one such incident during a task, the agitated Godman threw urine on his fellow contestants, Bani J and Rohan Mehra. Swami Om was known to be the big mouth of the house. He was immediately evicted from the show after this incident.

Kamaal R Khan hurls bottle at Rohit Verma

Kamaal R Khan, aka KRK who is always attempting to hog the limelight since he appeared in the third season of Bigg Boss. In BB3, the actor got in an argument with a housemate, designer Rohit Verma. The argument between the two, reached a point where KRK hurled a bottle at Rohit which led to the immediate eviction of KRK.

Imam Siddique and Urvashi Dholakia

Imam Siddique, one of the most infuriating wild card entries in the Bigg Boss house made headlines throughout the season. From him saying ‘time out’ to Salman Khan, besides claiming to make Shah Rukh Khan and Preity Zinta superstars (yeah, he really thought so), it’s hard to name just one incident while he was in the Bigg Boss house. Imam got into a fight with Urvashi regularly, going to the extent where he commented on Urvashi’s parenting skills and her personal life, leaving her in tears.

Prince Narula and Rishabh Sinha

Prince Narula and Rishabh Sinha evidently didn’t like each other, and both were a part of Splitsvilla before becoming competitors in the Bigg Boss house. Both the contestants had regular arguments in the house, but things took an ugly turn when Prince made actor, Kishwar Merchant walk like a dog (no joke) for three hours straight during a task. What followed was an argument, complete with muted cuss words between Prince and Rishabh.
