After 12 seasons, The Big Bang Theory aired its last episode on May 16. The show has always been a massive laugh riot and gave us memorable characters particularly Sheldon played by Jim Parsons.
TBBT was primarily about five friends living in California. They are Leonard Hofstadter and Sheldon Cooper, both physicists at Caltech who are flat mates; Penny played by Kaley Cucuo- a waitress and aspiring actor who lives across the hall; and Leonard and Sheldon's friends and co-workers, aerospace engineer Howard Wolowitz and astrophysicist Raj Koothrappali. All these characters had their specific quirks and qualities.
The show has been criticised for the decline in its content as the seasons progressed but it continued to be in the top ten television ratings in the US.
