Shreyan Bhattacharya from West Bengal and Anjali Gaikwad from Maharashtra were declared winners of the singing reality show Sa Re Ga Ma Pa Li’l Champs on Sunday night. This is the first time that two winners were announced for the top spot on a reality show. This popular talent show for young singers is judged by Neha Kakkar, Himesh Reshammiya and Javed Ali and hosted by Aditya Narayan.
While 12-year-old Shreyan sang hits like Hawayein, Sooraj Dooba and Zaalima in the finale, 11-year-old Anjali belted out a medley of popular songs like Deewani Mastani, Jhalla Wallah and Main Kolhapur Se Aayi Hoon.
The grand finale of Sa Re Ga Ma Pa Li’l Champs also had an appearance by Kapil Sharma, who came on the show to publicise his upcoming film Firangi.
The finale featured solo performances by all the six finalists--- Vaishnav, Sonakshi, Shanmukhpriya, Anjali, Shreyan, and Dhroon. However, Shreyan and Anjali walked away with the trophy.
