Colors TV released the first promo of the upcoming season of the popular reality TV show Bigg Boss, and this time around the show’s host Salman Khan turned station master to make a few important announcements about the format of season 13.
Apart from announcing that Bigg Boss 13 will be an all-star show this time around, Salman also revealed that the contestants will reach the finale in just four weeks. It looks like the makers are attempting a new format this time around, as last year’s ‘commoners vs celebrities’ concept was unable to garner high TRPs.
Bigg Boss 13 will premiere on 29 September.
The names of contestants floating around earlier this year included Chunky Panday, Rajpal Yadav, Zareen Khan, Devoleena Bhattacharjee, Mahika Sharma, Aditya Narayan, and Mugdha Godse.
But Zareen Khan denied doing the show on Twitter and Rajpal Yadav gave a statement saying that he has been offered to be a part of Bigg Boss almost every year, but work commitments have kept him busy. Meanwhile, Aditya will be busy with hosting Indian Idol’s next season.
TV actor Dipika Kakar won the last season of Bigg Boss, beating the likes of Karanvir Bohra and Sreesanth to lift the trophy.
