Kyunki Saas Bhi Kabhi Bahu Thi lead pair Ronit Roy and Smriti Irani bumped into each other on a flight recently and were happy to see each other after all these years. While Ronit has continued acting in films and TV, Smriti has moved to politics altogether.
But back in the day, Ronit and Smriti were Indian television’s first big couple. Kyunki... was the leading soap opera of its times ever since it was launched in the year 2000. Not only did it make Mihir and Tulsi household names, but Ekta Kapoor shot to fame with her K-serials phenomenon too.
