Redefining Modern Slang In Hansa and Praful’s ‘Khichdi’ Style

The Parekh parivaar satiated TV’s fetish for rib-tickling comedy with every episode of Khichdi, ever since its debut in 2002. All the lead characters of the show stood out but Praful (Rajeev Mehta) and Hansa (Supriya Pathak) were the highlights. I remember waking up to the morning repeats and having a hearty laugh at how much in love they were.

Quite the ones to adapt to new words, I was wondering how Praful would interpret these slang words we all use today if the show made a comeback. With slight nostalgia trickling through my head mixed with an overdose of the Praful-Hansa dictionary, here are a few words decoded their way.
