The end of the series is around the corner. In No Place Is Home, when Owen and McQuigg learn heartbreaking news about family members, the team goes on high alert as they quickly learn nowhere is safe. Connor Devlin from episode 9 is back with a vengeance and he is intent on making good on his promise of going after the agents’ loved ones, motivated by his vindictiveness.

In this episode, it’s all about the personal lives of the ones that make the squad. We get a peek into their family lives and the show gets into the intimate zone. Finally when we are just one episode away from the show’s closure that Quantico lets us in on the private lives of the other members of the special force. We find out undisclosed facets like how Mike is grieving the loss of his sister. Alex bares her heart to her mother. But then it also seems a little forced, considering the theme of the episode that each of the characters unveils one family member that they need to shield.

Owen & Jocelyn’s relationship gets a tad complicated. All the developments make this episode a little less Alex-heavy. Some other guests made an appearance on the show too - Ryan’s mother, Shelby’s groundskeeper and a new MI5 Irish agent Fiona. The appearance of the guests is a good excuse to depict the softer side of the agents.

The series again manifests its ruthless streak where we are directly transported to Owen’s daughter Lydia’s funeral right at the start of the episode.

Connor Devlin emerges the sinister baddie of the season, who will propel the season and the series to its conclusion. He’s methodical and cold, cranking up the chills a notch.

One of his dialogues makes an indelible impact - “Terrible thing when a child has to pay for the sins of the father.” His menace will continue in the last episode. It’s a bittersweet wait for the fans. They can hardly wait but then again, that would spell the end of the phenomenon that Quantico was!
