The year 2018 has been great for both Vicky Kaushal and Ayushmann Khurrana with their films setting the box office on fire. Their performances have also been praised widely and have cemented their position as credible young actors.
They’re all set to appear on Koffee with Karan 6 this week, marking their first appearance on the show. Both actors have a relatively quiet public presence, free of controversy but that might change as Karan prods them about their personal lives.
Karan observes how Ayushmann and Vicky have a very organic Punjabi boy image and asks them how true it is. They both are good, clean Punjabi boys with beautiful families and a solid foundation. “There is no façade, because there is no fasaad,” Ayushmann jokes.
Apparently Vicky is a complete Mama’s boy. His close friend Anand Tiwari reveals on the show that every time they go on a vacation, the first thing he does is call his mother to tell her what he’s eaten, the previous day and what he plans to eat the next day. “It’s as though you’re on vacation with a fifth grader,” jokes Anand. Vicky is also petrified of horror films and sleeps with his lights on after watching one.
