Satyarthi - who was accompanied by his wife, Sumedha - spoke about fighting the evil that is child trafficking, child labour, and the sexual exploitation of children.

Recalling a grotesque incident of trying to rescue girls from a circus where they were made to perform dangerous stunts, the Nobel Laureate narrated the misery of the girls.

Satyarthi chose the platform to speak about how the statistics of ‘every child who goes missing every six minutes’ was skewed, since these numbers are restricted to only registered cases. The real figure of missing children is far greater as most cases, and low profile victims are not even registered. The missing kids are often used as slaves, made to do inhumane tasks in the name of labour, circulated in the illegal organ trade and child brides. He didn’t shy away from mentioning that everything, from the skin to their internal organs are profited by.

On a different note, Amitabh Bachchan added an anecdote about his family name, and how they came to be known as Bachchans on the finale episode.

Eventually, the show ended with another beautiful performance by Indian Ocean.
