The famous quiz television show, hosted by Amitabh Bachchan, just got its third crorepati. So far, the show has seen two of its contestants bag the title. In a recent promo shared by the makers of the show, we get to meet KBC’s third winner - Gautam Kumar Jha, who comes from Bihar.
During the episode, Gautam’s wife tells Amitabh Bachchan that she has always been a fan of ‘KBC’ and when she met Gautam, she urged him to participate in the show.
Having crossed the 1 crore, Gautam is joyful. And he immediately credits his success to his wife who, he says, motivated and pushed him to achieve his goal. In the video, his wife opens up about how she has always known that he is smart. “I told him to make use of the knowledge he acquired while giving the UPSC exam,” she adds. Gautam then gives an example of how his wife pushed him to keep trying for KBC.
During the episode, Gautam’s wife tells Amitabh Bachchan that she has always been a fan of KBC and when she met Gautam, she urged him to participate in the show. “Why didn’t you try to participate in KBC?” asks Bachchan. To which Gautam’s wife responds, “No, if I played, I would only be able to wind Rs 10-20,000.” Bachchan then says, “You did the duty of a true wife by telling him that Rs 10-20,000 is not enough. Get Rs 1 crore!”
The promo ends on a curious note as we know that Gautam had made it all the way to the Rs 7 crore mark. But will he win the big question? Catch the episode to find out.
