Salman Khan’s show Bigg Boss is known for its controversies and of course the crazy TRPs. But looks like there is someone giving Salman competition and it’s none other than Amitabh Bachchan. Bigg Boss 11 did take off well with great ratings, but soon Bachchan’s charm and charisma in Kaun Banega Crorepati 9 trumped over the reality show with highest TRPs.
The BARC report of Week 40 (Saturday, 30th September 2017 to Friday, 6th October 2017) published by Bollywoodlife.com surprised everyone as Amitabh Bachchan’s show Kaun Banega Crorepati 9 on Sony remained the most watched show in the nation. Bigg Boss 11 didn’t even make it to the top five. Thanks to KBC, the channel has also been ranked as the most watched.
Looks like Salman has to up his game. Or should I say someone needs to let the Bigg Boss contestants know this statistics?
One of the reasons behind KBC’s success can also be the new treatment given to the show by its makers. KBC 9 has given importance to real-life heroes who have brought accolades to the country this time over Bollywood stars. Going by the TRP ratings, it looks like viewers have welcomed the move.
