With the finale episode of the madness that is the Game of Thrones, we're back to square one. Seven seasons are over and now begins a long, cold wait till the show’s very last season. While the ruthless and gripping drama based on George RR Martin’s series deserves every bit of its cult following, its writers did have a few week moments. Here are a few dialogues from the show that transported me right back to Bollywood in a jiffy, without any warning whatsoever.

“A Foreign Invasion is Underway”

Ellaria Sand and Yara Greyjoy come together under Daenerys Targaryen. On one stormy night, as the wine was flowing freely, Lara drops a sly hint about being bisexual. Ellaria makes an advance as Lara’s brother and so-called protector Theon watches. She almost dares him, as she holds Lara’s legs wide open and says the rather corny words, “a foreign invasion is underway”. Ewwww.

Jab Jon Met Dany

I had a snarky feeling when Jorah Mormont returns in good health to serve Daenerys again that a love triangle with Jon Snow is in the offing. But who would’ve thought that that would take a dead dragon! I wasn’t prepared for the ‘Dany’ moment to be honest. An injured Jon Snow lies in bed and thanks ‘Dany’ for saving his life. Mush levels in this scene are so high that even Daenerys is forced to think of her creepy dead brother.

Daenerys, the Real Gunda

Wouldn’t Daenerys be perfect for Circuit and Munna’s ‘haddi-tod’ gang?

This was Dany’s Gunda moment. What a filmi dialogue she throws at her freak of a brother Viserys. This one had me rooting for her right in season 1 to be honest. But even in the Game of Thrones, badasses need some filmi fun. I couldn’t help but picture Circuit nudging Munna bhai suggesting that they should get Daenerys to joint heir ‘haddi-tod’ gang.

“I Want to Make Babies With Brienne, Great Big Monsters”

When Tormund had the hots for Brienne.

As Tormund Giantsbane walks with the Hound in search of the Whitewalkers, he tells him his love story, almost drooling over the thought of having children with Brienne of Tarth. Firstly, ewwww. That’s exactly what the Hound says too! “You’re with Brienne of f*cking Tarth!” I can only imagine the expression on her face, had she heard about the ‘great big monsters meant to conquer the world’ that Tormund is lusting after. Eww ewww yuck!

Did these corny moments and cheesy lines make you cringe too? I bet they made you giggle secretly. Too bad that winter is here.
