Kahaan Hum Kahaan Tum’s lead pair Rohit Sippy (Karan V Grover) and Sonakshi Rastogi (Dipika Kakar Ibrahim) got married amidst loads of drama last week, and post the wedding, Sonakshi has gone for a total wardrobe switch. Dipika, who has experimented with her styling on the show so far, will now be seen donning saris.
In tonight’s episode, Dipika will be seen raising temperatures as she recreates Sridevi’s ‘Kate Nahin Kat Te’ song from Mr India and Sushmita Sen’s ‘Tumhe Jo Maine Dekha’ from Main Hoon Naa.
In the episode, Sonakshi sets Rohit’s imagination on fire as she tries to convince him about how “glamorous and elegant” saris actually are, when he refers to saris as ‘boring and behenji types’. She asks him to imagine Sridevi and Sushmita Sen’s looks in Mr India and Main Hoon Na, respectively.
The episode aired on Hotstar this morning, and fans of the show on social media couldn’t stop gushing about how hot Dipika looked, coupled with the dance moves.
On the show, Dipika had also earlier performed to Madhuri Dixit Nene’s popular song ‘Chane Ke Khet Me’ from the film Anjaam, during the engagement ceremony.
A few of her other classy sari-clad looks from future episodes are also doing the rounds on social media.
Dipika’s styling on the show has been much-talked about as she has donned a huge variety of outfits and constantly experimented with her hair and make-up.
Now, it looks like we will get see a lot more of her in glamorous saris.
